A whole new world, but is it good enough?

The TLC new website has launched and it’s all quite daunting…

I have never pretended that  I am a woman of business acumen, or online techie ability, but for a long time, I have felt frustrated that the website, which I created through playing about on WordPress, was difficult to navigate, looked messy and didn’t really portray TLC as I wished it to.

It was time to invest in the website.

For about the last three months, two guys have been hard at work creating this new look website for TLC, with the plan being that they can pass it on to me to maintain, update and tweak as I saw fit.

Trouble is, I’ve been playing around with it for the last couple of weeks and I keep losing text that I’ve written, can’t stand the size of the photos, or generally don’t feel it’s quite as slick and professional as I’d like…

However, at a core team meeting yesterday, the ever-wise Jill suggested that rather than waiting for the website to be perfect  – because, indeed, would it ever be?- rather, I should work on getting it good enough to go live. People are asking about TLC. Worse, people are forgetting about TLC.

So here it is, the website, in all it’s glory, with a few rough edges that will be ironed out in due course. We hope you like it, we know you won’t love it (yet!) but please be patient as I get my head around the new systems .. and in the meantime, at least the blog is easier to find, where you can read, or re-read the reflections and noteworthy moments from the ToastLoveCoffee story so far…
